   Ear, Nose & Throat Disorders

Otolaryngology services offered by Saint Louis University Hospital and SLUCare physicians were ranked No. 29 among U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Hospitals,” 2001.

Diseases and disorders of the ears, nose, throat and voice are diagnosed and treated by SLUCare specialists in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery. Areas of expertise include facial cosmetic/reconstructive surgery, skull-base surgery, maxillofacial trauma, thyroid gland problems, hearing problems and deafness, dizziness or unsteadiness, nasal and sinus problems, ear infections, snoring and sleep apnea, hoarseness and voice problems, facial nerve paralysis, and head and neck cancer. An audiology center offers hearing evaluation and prescription of hearing aids and assistive living devices, and a voice laboratory allows high-tech diagnosis and treatment of hoarseness and speech problems.
