As we started the 2008 year, it was to be a year of changes and transition. Dr. Summer Youker, previous chair and cancer liaison physician accepted a new position in California and kindly asked if I would like to serve in the position of a cancer liaison physician. We have started many projects to help improve our high standard of quality and assist patients undergoing their treatments and survival with their disease.
