Excellence in Nursing Awards

On April 25, 2013, St. Louis Magazine hosted its annual “Excellence in Nursing” awards at the Kemp Auto Museum, where Helen Sandkuhl, RN, was named a winner in the “Emergency Department” category. She was nominated by Tom Allen, business services manager at SLU Hospital. “It’s remarkable how much Helen gives of herself,” says Tom. “She’s not just a nurse. She eats, breathes and sleeps nursing, and she deserves this recognition.”
