Regular Nursing Floors
Routine hospital visiting hours are 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and are limited to two visitors per bedside. Children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, but are not allowed on the 8th floor Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. Exceptions to these rules may be made by the patient's nurses or physicians.
ICU
Flexible visiting hours in the Intensive Care Units are limited to immediate family, significant others and clergy. Arrangements must be made with the nursing staff.
Emergency Department
Only two visitors may be allowed with a patient in the Emergency Department, and each must display a Visitor's Pass. Emergency medical staff may ask visitors to remain in the waiting area.
After Hours
Visitors desiring to stay in the hospital overnight must obtain an overnight visitor's pass from the registration desk in the Emergency Department after being approved by the head nurse or nursing supervisor. Protective Services officers will enforce this policy.
Visitors arriving at the hospital between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. must enter through the Emergency Department and receive authorization from the Protective Services officer on duty.
