Development and maintenance of strategic and tactical plans for
the regional hospitals` systems.
Tactical and strategic management of IS staff supporting the St.
Louis Region.
Solicitation of performance feedback from senior management within
the region and corporate IS
Evaluation of new systems and products and review of information
technology opportunities.
Ongoing evaluation of production systems to include service level
compliance, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Preparation and review of status of projects, resource
expenditures, service level performance, plan to actual budget
variances and problem management/resolution with Account IS and
Hospital Senior Management teams.
Coordination of system integration projects on an Account and Site

Requirements:
Must have 6-10 years of acute care hospital healthcare experience
including knowledge of healthcare systems, processes, workflow,
policies, and regulations and 10 years` of experience as Information
Systems leader.
Posses a working knowledge of mainframe, minicomputer,
microcomputer, and telecommunications environments, strategies,
equipment, operating systems, development
tools, and methodologies.
Prior experience leading I.T. teams, developing I.T.
plans/projects, leading I.T. teams, preparing and managing budgets,
and familiarity of needs assessment is required.
Must demonstrate excellent communication and customer interaction
skills and the ability to lead meetings and give presentations.Education:
Tenet is looking for a Healthcare I.T. Director to lead Regional
Applications, Network/Infrastructure Operations, Telecommunications,
and Systems Integration teams for a matrixed Four Hospital
Facilities Operations and a Regional Business Office based in Saint
Louis, MO. In this role you will be responsible for the site
management, associate care, customer expectations, and Account and
Customer deliverables as they relate to day-to-day support and
project work. As a senior leader, you will be accountable to provide
insight to help shape the delivery of services to the customer and
within the Healthcare
