FACT Accreditation 
Congratulations to the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program for earning the prestigious FACT accreditation through the Foundation for Accreditation of Cellular Therapy. This accreditation exemplifies the program’s commitment to quality care for cellular therapy treatment. The Blood and Marrow Transplant Program received FACT accreditation for adult autologous hematopoietic progenitor cell transplantation, bone marrow and peripheral blood cellular therapy product collection, and cellular therapy product processing.

Saint Louis University has a long standing commitment to provide advanced cancer care to patients in the St. Louis region. The Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) program was started in 1990 in order to fulfill this mission. Since then, Saint Louis University Hospital in conjunction with SLUCare physicians, have performed hundreds of blood and marrow transplants in patients from the United States, Canada and South America.
