February 18, 2015, ST. LOUIS - In 2012, graduate student Andrew Oberle made national headlines after he was attacked by chimpanzees while working at the Goodall Institute in South Africa. He was brought to SLU Hospital in August of that year with devastating injuries.
Over the past two years, SLUCare specialists such as Bruce Kraemer, MD, have worked closely with Andrew and he has become almost a family member to many at SLU Hospital.
He shared his story for the first time with KSDK's Kay Quinn in a two-part series airing after the Super Bowl. Andrew is an amazing person and we encourage you to watch the above story.
