If you are looking for a couple of fall run/walk events, here are two that benefit the SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital community.
The Saint Louis University Cancer Center and Billiken Athletics invite you to join us in participating in the fifth annual Billiken 5K. The net proceeds from the Billiken 5K will benefit the Saint Louis University Cancer Center. The race begins at Chaifetz Arena and loops around the beautiful Midtown campus of Saint Louis University. To ensure an accurately timed race, we are providing chip timing for all runners. Support the Saint Louis University Cancer Center as we race to beat cancer one stride at a time!

Register by the 21st to get a discounted registration fee and a t-shirt. Event details can be found at billiken5K.com. All proceeds benefit the Saint Louis University Cancer Center.
The other event is the Be the Match Walk+Run, September 7 at Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park.
The Be The Match Walk+Run is a fun and moving event that allows our passionate community to come together to help provide cures for blood cancers. The event is filled with music, food, kids activities, local entertainment and most importantly, the company of others who are raising funds to provide cures.
