Business Journal: New Cardiac Monitor at SLU Hospital

LeeBizJournal

August 25, 2014, ST. LOUIS – The August 22 edition of the St. Louis Business Journal features a new technology available to patients at the Center for Comprehensive Cardiovascular Care at Saint Louis University Hospital. The Reveal LINQ, first implanted in the St. Louis region February 24, is smaller than a AAA battery and allows physicians to determine whether fainting, dizziness or even stroke are due to abnormal heart rhythms as the implantable device records a patient’s heart data on a daily basis and wirelessly sends that information to their physician.
