July 2, 2015, ST. LOUIS – Half of all heart disease deaths are preventable, according to new research published in the Annals of Internal Medicine.
The study found five modifiable risk factors as responsible:
"These are in our control or can be managed," says Michael Lim, MD, co-director of the Center for Comprehensive Cardiovascular Care (C4) at Saint Louis University Hospital and a SLUCare physician.
