LOUIS - Just over one year ago, SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital became one of fewer than ten centers in the nation to open a comprehensive outpatient bone marrow transplant center, allowing some cancer patients the ability to return home during treatment rather than face a lengthy inpatient hospital stay.
