“I love the people with whom I work and the training environment keeps us sharp,” she says.
But patients are what drive her. “Every patient has a story,” she says. “When you understand how a particular illness or set of symptoms impacts a patient’s life, you are better able to treat the person. Not just the ‘illness.’”
