"I live in this neighborhood, and personally value SLU Hospital's efforts to serve the city community," says Long. "It is rewarding to know that in some small way, my work – and on a larger scale the service of all SLU Hospital employees – so greatly affects the surrounding community.
"I am so grateful to work with such a great group of PTs, OTs and speech therapists, of whose skills and kindnesses I would trust with my own family," she says. "My goal is to leave work knowing I have attended to our patients in a compassionate way.
"We have that opportunity here at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital."
