Stewart says working at an academic medical center like SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is very rewarding.

“It’s exciting to work for a hospital that continually challenges me, where I have the opportunity to learn something new every day,” says Stewart. “The best part of my job is interaction with the other departments – providing them with the quality, accurate financial information they need to run their departments so they can focus on providing the patients with a wonderful experience here at SLU Hospital.”

She says that while she’s worked in health care her entire career she always wanted to work in a hospital like SLU rather than a corporate office.

“I was raised in the metro St. Louis area and Saint Louis University Hospital is recognized in the community as a leader for treating the most critical, complex cases that require specialists who provide individualized care,” says Stewart. “It’s great to work somewhere that makes a difference every day in patients’ lives!”
