Lampe says the Breast Imaging Center makes SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital special. “Being a smaller department allows the staff to provide a friendly, comfortable and familiar atmosphere,” she says.
Personally, working with breast cancer patients drives her. “I draw inspiration from those patients who are fighting and have fought the battle of breast cancer,” she says. “Seeing them fight this disease is quite awe inspiring.”
