Dr. Redden says SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is special for him because of the daily interactions he has with enthusiastic colleagues.
“This creates a friendly environment and encourages everyone to do their best,” says Dr. Redden. “We also have a vast and diverse collection of doctors and medical professions. So if I have challenging question or need to collaborate for a project, there is someone at this hospital who can help me get answers.”
He says the most rewarding part of SLU Hospital is the patients and families. “I enjoy being an advocate for mental health as well as tearing down the negative stigma associated with mental health illnesses,” says Dr. Redden. “The sense of satisfaction I get when guiding them through difficult times keeps me motivated.”
