Hundreds Attend Cancer Center Dedication

On Thursday, November 13, SSM Cancer Care at St. Joseph Hospital West opened its doors for a Grand Opening celebration.
With the opening of SSM Cancer Care services in October, the Lake Saint Louis hospital campus now offers the most comprehensive range of oncology services in St. Charles County, including the only CyberKnife ® Stereotactic Radiosurgery Treatment in the county. In a one-of-a-kind collaboration, SSM St. Joseph Hospital West, Missouri Cancer Care (a private oncology practice), and Saint Louis University Hospital are working together to provide patients with the best possible care in one integrated facility.
Saint Louis University Hospital physicians provide the CyberKnife ® Stereotactic Radiosurgery System and Neuro-Oncology services. With the combination of services that these entities provide, patients will be able to get all of their cancer care needs cared for in one facility that is convenient, and for many, closer to home. |
