Bleeding Disorders

Coagulation Consultants, based at Saint Louis University Hospital, offer a wide range of routine and specialized tests for detailed, comprehensive evaluation of patients with inherited and acquired bleeding disorders, thromboembolic complications and congenital and acquired hypercoagulable states, including lupus anticoagulants/antiphospholipid antibodies.

Results are reported with a written interpretation and recommendations for further investigation and/or patient management.

The location of the lab makes delivery of specimens from the midwest region fast and convenient. A technologist and physician are on call 24 hours a day to answer questions and perform tests on a STAT basis.
